Black Rock Building is an owner operated residential building company based in Marlborough, specialising in new homes and renovations. Black Rock provides the complete service. We can manage the entire project from planning through to a successful completion.

Managing Director Dallas Mead has building in his blood with both his grandfather and father as builders before him. He began his building career in 1993 in Marlborough with a building company specialising in high end luxury residential homes and by 2002 he had set up his own business. Dallas has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in this time working on an extensive range of projects throughout Marlborough.

Dallas has a passion for the industry and is currently the President of the Marlborough Registered Master Builders and has served on the executive committee for the past 10 years.

Dallas & his wife Angela manage the day-to-day running of the Business. Along with their two young boys, Dallas & Angela enjoy spending time outdoors in the Marlborough Sounds. Though Dallas can often be found cruising the vernon loop on his Mountain bike.
